Today, we are delighted to announce the launch of a new and important feature that will enhance your booking experience – the Group Size Feature for Landing and API Reservations.

What’s New?

Starting today, the price groups on Travelotopos will have a distinct type – either Group or Individual. This innovative feature allows you to set the group type by navigating to Configuration -> Service Configuration -> Price Groups -> Type. This type setting is crucial as it determines whether a service can support only one price group or multiple individual ones.

Event Overview: Group Size Configuration

One of the key aspects of this feature is the ability to set the size of the group for each event. Now, when you access the Overview of the Event, you can easily configure the group size. Here’s an example to illustrate its functionality:

Let’s say you have 3 boats for private tours, each with a capacity of 10 people. If a customer books for 12 people, the system will smartly manage the availability. In this scenario, the remaining availability will be adjusted to 10 people, indicating that 1 group is left.

Pricing Structure: Catering to Your Needs

Understanding that your business may have unique pricing structures, we’ve streamlined the process. The prices you set will be for up to 10 people. For every additional group beyond this initial 10, the prices will dynamically calculate from the start, ensuring a fair and accurate representation of your services.
